Cookies

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so that the site can recognise the browser on a later request. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.
What this site uses
The pages you are reading are static informational pages. They have no login, no basket and no form, so none of the usual reasons to set a cookie apply. In its default configuration this site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser's local storage.
If measurement or attribution scripts are added by the operator, they are placed through the site's configuration file and would be listed in the table below along with their purpose and lifetime. Until that table lists something, treat the site as cookie-free.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| None set in the current configuration. | |||
No third-party content
The site loads no external fonts, images, maps, videos, comment systems or social buttons. That is a deliberate design choice: it keeps pages fast and it means reading a guide here does not announce your visit to anyone else.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them for all sites or for specific ones. The controls sit under privacy or site settings, and the browser's own help pages describe the current location. Blocking cookies entirely will not affect your ability to read anything on this site.
Server logs
Separately from cookies, the web server records technical request data. That is described on the privacy page.
